Christ: Descent from Cross -- Heads of Personifications of Sun and Moon appear above Christ, cross-nimbed, wearing crown of thorns and long loin cloth, affixed to decorated cross with three nails. Virgin Mary, nimbed, veiled, holds His detached right arm. Joseph of Arimathea supports His body. Evangelist John, nimbed, right hand raised, holds book in draped left hand.
Scene on gold background and framed by two gabled arches.
