Virgin Mary: Annunciation -- Within initial H, Gabriel, nimbed, gesturing with right hand, stands facing Virgin Mary, nimbed and veiled, looking toward Gabriel, raising right hand. In lower margin, terminating pen flourish, head of rabbit, tendrils emerging from mouth. Pen-flourished initials. Text is responsory in first nocturne for Matins on 9.8, feast of the birth of Virgin Mary.
