Bernard of Clairvaux: Scene, Vision of Christ on Cross -- Bernard, nimbed, tonsured, wearing Cistercian habit, kneeling beside crozier, supports Christ, with rays as nimbus, wearing crown of thorns and short loin cloth, showing wounds, bloody, coming down from tau cross. In background is draped altar with candlestick, and cabinet surmounted by statue of Virgin Mary and Christ Child. Scene in church with leaded glass windows.
