Virgin Mary: doubted by Joseph -- Virgin Mary, nimbed, seated on bed before drawn curtain, right hand holding book, left hand raised, recoils from Joseph, nimbed, wearing hat, seated, right hand touching Mary's stomach. Above them, angel, nimbed, hands extended, emerges from cloud.
Scene against patterned background in barbed quatrefoil.
In lower margin (bas-de-page), man raises club and shield before lion.
In margins, foliate extensions with hybrid dragon.
