Beginning of Book of Exodus.
Moses: before Pharaoh -- Pharaoh, wearing crown, raising right forefinger, sits on bench with left leg on right knee. Before him stand horned Moses, raising right forefinger and holding staff in left hand, and Aaron. Scene beneath gothic arches, within decorated initial H.
In lower margin is deer standing on hind legs and dog.
