Virgin Mary: Annunciation -- Archangel Gabriel, holding scroll inscribed AVE GRATIA PLENA DOMINUS [gu], kneels behind Virgin Mary, nimbed, kneeling at prie-dieu beneath canopy, and turning back to look toward Gabriel. Between them is vase containing lily. Visible through doorway, is head of God, crossed nimbus, in arc of Heaven, emanting rays on which dove of Holy Ghost flies toward Virgin Mary.
Scene in room with wood ceiling, pendant, two windows. Miniature in grisaille with gold and color detail.
Margins decorated with border of floreate ornament, in grisaille with color detail, inhabited by hybrid man.
