Evangelist Mark sits holding open book with pseudo-inscription in his lap. Beside him is lion (Evangelist Symbol). Scene in room. Miniature enclosed in architectural frame with two standing figures of prophets (?). Bottom of frame is inscribed I[N] ILLO TE[M]PORE RECV[M]BE[N]TI[BUS].
