Benedict of Montecassino: Scene, Two Monks rebuked -- Two tonsured monks, wearing habits, with joined hands raised, kneel before Benedict of Montecassino, nimbed, tonsured, wearing monk’s habit, emerging from doorway and raising right forefinger toward the two. Scene in exterior of garden with trees, plants and monastery walls in background. Miniature within frame for at end of Chapter 12 of Book II of Dialogues; Benedict of Montecassino knew that two monks had eaten outside of the monastery and chastises them.
