Denis of Paris: Beheading -- Two men, behind hill, including one holding staff, look on as executioner returns sword to sheath. Beside him, to left, Denis of Paris, wearing bishop's vestments, holds head, nimbed, mitered, in both hands.
To right, two executioners raise swords above heads of Rusticus and Eleutherius of Paris, both nimbed, tonsured, wearing deacon's vestments, kneeling. One saint raises joined hands. The other saint falls forward.
In background is landscape with buildings.
