Christ: Flight into Egypt, Fall of Idols -- Virgin Mary, rays as nimbus, veiled, mounted on ass, holds in her arms Christ Child (only head visible), nimbed. The ass is led by Joseph the Carpenter who wears headgear and raises right hand. In background, idol falls from column. Scene in landscape setting with road and buildings in distance.
In illusionistic border are flowers, including violas and thistles, oak branches with acorns, chaffinches, peacock, and moths.
