David: proclaimed King -- Men of Judah gather beside David, seated on throne behind which is patterned hanging. One man, kneeling, holding hat in left hand, places scepter in David's right hand. Two men, flanking him, place crown on his head.
Miniature and text framed by border decorated with foliate ornament and budding and full flowers, including viola and pink.
Decorated initial C begins Psalm 98 (Vulg., 97).
