Christ: in Gethsemane and Christ: Betrayal, Arrival in Garden -- Apostles Peter, tonsured; James; and John, all nimbed, recline on ground with eyes closed. Christ, with crossed rays as nimbus, kneels with joined hands raised to goblet below rays emanating from clouds of heaven. In background to left are arriving soldiers, with spears (?). In distant background is city of Jerusalem.
Medallion in left margin:
Abraham: sacrificing Isaac -- Isaac, carrying bundle of wood on left shoulder, walks behind Abraham, wearing hat.
Margins with foliate and vinescroll ornament. In lower margin is tournament shield (escutcheon) with arms of Sivry (barry of twelve argent and azure an estoile or).
