Beginning of Malachi.
Malachi: preaching -- Malachi, wearing hat, holds book in left hand and raises right forefinger. At right, half -figure of Christ-Logos, cross-nimbed, emerges from cloudy arc of heaven. He holds book in left and hand raises right forefinger. Below are Jacob and Esau, holding bow and arrow. Scene in decorated initial O.
In left margin are fantastic animals.
In lower margin is bird and nude man leaning on hand crutches.
