David and Bathsheba: Bathsheba bathing -- Bathsheba, nude, wearing cap, stands in pool within wall of courtyard of house. To right is castle with arched gateway surmounted by escutcheon inscribed with harp, and in second-story window is David, wearing hat, observing Bathsheba.
Lower margin decorated with scattered flowers, including berry, creeping bellflower, dianthus and thistle.
