Christ: anointed by Woman -- Mary Magdalen, nimbed, crouches below draped trestle table, holding with right hand, foot of Christ, showing wound. Christ, nimbed, is seated at the table, with three apostles or companions, all nimbed. Loaves of bread and cups are on the table.
Margins decorated with blocks of floreate ornament, including columbine, viola, thistle and rose, and inhabited by bird and winged fantastic animal.
