Christ: Crucifixion -- Christ, rays as nimbus, crowned with thorns, wearing loin cloth, bleeding from wounds, is affixed with three nails to cross with titulus inscribed INRI. He is flanked by Virgin Mary, nimbed, veiled, with joined hands raised, and Evangelist John, nimbed, raising right hand. Scene in landscape setting.
Margin is decorated with foliate border, including violas, inhabited by fantastic animal.
