Christ: Deposition -- Body of Christ, with crossed nimbus, wearing short loin cloth, bleeding from wounds, is taken down from cross by Nicodemus, wearing hat, standing on ladder balanced against the cross, and by Joseph of Arimathea (?), wearing hat, standing on ground and holding legs of the Christ. Mary Magdalen (?), nimbed, kneeling on ground, reaches right hand to leg of Christ. Witnessing scene are Virgin Mary, nimbed, veiled, with joined hands raised, standing with Evangelist John, nimbed; and Holy Woman, nimbed, veiled, standing beside man, wearing hat, looking away.
Margins with floreate ornament. In lower margin is escutcheon with arms of Brittany (ermine plain), surmounted by a crown.
