Christ: Last Supper -- Christ, nimbed, is seated at draped round table, holding wafer or loaf in right hand over plate; His left arm is across back of Evangelist John, head down on table. Christ is flanked by ten Apostles, nimbed, around the table. One of two lifting food to mouth shows teeth next to another, probably Judas, holding sack, kneeling and looking up at him. Some sit on bench, one sits on faldstool, holding cup with left hand. Cup, loaves, and plate are on the table; covered pitcher is in foreground, next to end of bench.
Scene in room with wooden ceiling and windows with interior shutters.
Margins decorated with border of floreate ornament including grapevine, and inhabited by peacock, and by fox preaching from pulpit to chickens and geese (Scene, Burlesque: Preaching).
