Celestine V, kneels with joined hands extended, looking up toward hand of Christ, showing wound, in gesture of blessing, emerging from arc of Heaven. Triple-crowned papal tiara is pulled from head of Celestine V by wolf, standing on hindquarters, resting front feet on back of Celestine. Bannered spear is next to wolf. Tree is at left.
