Virgin Mary, nimbed and crowned, gesturing with right hand, holds with left hand and looks toward, Christ Child, nimbed, raising both hands, looking up at her. She is seated beneath canopy on throne with cushion at her feet. They are flanked by two angels, each extending both hands to arms of the throne. Male donor, with joined hands, kneels in foreground.
Miniature and text surrounded by gold frame on three sides. Margins decorated with border of rinceaux, foliate and floreate ornament.
