1) Christ: Circumcision -- In initial D decorated with foliate and geometric ornament and diapered spandrels, veiled woman stands behind Virgin Mary, nimbed, veiled, holding nude Christ Child, cross-nimbed, lying on draped altar, with hands raised, being circumcised with knife by Mohel.
2) Margins - Rectilinear bars decorated with interlace and foliage, enclosing five heraldic escutcheons, including Moreuil (two), Count of Soissons (one), and Count of Grandpré (one), and inhabited by four birds, three hybrid animals, hybrid bird, and horned hybrid man wearing dunce hat.
