Donor as knight, wearing sword at waist, gloves beside him, kneels at prie-dieu on which is open book. He looks toward Virgin and Christ Child on facing page. Behind him is tree on which hangs decorated heraldic shield surmounted by helmet tied with cord of intertwined red and yellow cords.
