Psalm 051 (Vulg., 050) -- Initial M of Miserere enclosing hybrid animal against gold background; initial’s ascender extending across left and upper margins partly formed by hybrid bird with body of beas, hooded, holding ball in beak, and with right hand raising sword and left hand holding shield; and descender extending across left, lower, and right margins terminating in head of bearded man and on which is perched cat grasping handle of churn.
