In upper margin, nude male gladiator, armed with sword and shield (buckler) encountering animal, amid foliate tail of dragon with ball in its jaws, entwined with tail of dragon biting initial D of Psalm 15 (Vulg., 14) below.
Line ending: snail encountering soldier, wearing helmet and chain mail, armed with sword and shield, hurling javelin.
Line ending: escutcheon of gules, a fretty and a canton argent.
Line ending: hybrid man, armed with sword and shield, encountering nude man, indicating hindquarters with right hand, holding stick in left hand, and looking back (Scene, Obscaena).
Line ending: man, armed with sword, pursued by rabbit.
Line ending: two men, one partly nude and the other wearing cap, nude, wrestling.
