Zone 1:
Abraham: Rescue of Lot -- Abraham and four soldiers, mounted on horses, two caparisoned, and armed with lances, sword, and heraldic shield, and four foot soldiers with spear, mace and battle axes, attack two men before tents.
To right, Abraham and soldiers, all mounted on horses, two caparisoned, and armed with swords and lances, attack Elamites arming themselves before tents.

Zone 2:
1) Abraham: blessed by Melchisedek -- Lot, child, his wife, and soldiers, in mail, armed with lances and heraldic shield, mounted on horses, two caparisoned, appear behind Abraham, in mail. He kneels before Melchisedek, crowned, wearing high priest's vestments, holding loaf and chalice in draped hands. Illustration of Genesis 14:18,19.
2) Lot: barring Sodomites -- Four Sodomites, two with hands raised, are addressed by Lot standing with two daughters in portal of house; inside, two nimbed angels appear. Illustration of Genesis 19:4-10.
