Zone 1:
1) David and Jonathan: Shooting of Arrow -- Jonathan, with three arrows in belt, holds bow in left hand and points with right hand. David, in mail, sits behind pile of stones with trees. To right, boy runs, holding arrows. Illustration of I Samuel 20:35-38.

Zone 2:
1) David: with Ahimelech at Nob -- David receives two loaves of shewbread and sword of Goliath from Ahimelech, with head draped, attended by two priests with heads draped, man, and Doeg the Edomite with pedum in left hand. Illustration of I Samuel 21:1-9.
