Initial Q:
Psalm 052 (Vulg., 051) -- Christ-Logos, cross-nimbed, stands with scroll in left hand and raises right hand toward bestial horned devil playing pipe and tabor and stepping toward Him. In foreground, one of two men lies on ground, with sword transfixing the other with dagger stabbing eye of the prostrate one (murder scene).
Figures beneath double trefoil arches, within initial Q supported by winged hybrid man whose hood forms marginal foliate extension and whose tail forms scrolling foliage, enclosing cock, two-bodied hybrid man, and headless man with sword in right hand and his head in left hand, all in left margin.
