Zone 1:
1) Saul: Body despoiled (Stripping of Body) -- Among six Philistines in mail, armed with sword, halberd and spear, three strip mail from Saul, crowned, lying on hill. In foreground, bodies of Jonathan, Abinadab, and Melchishua, Sons of Saul, and armor-bearer are transfixed with arrows, broken spear and sword. Illustration of I Samuel 31:8.
2) Saul: Body despoiled (Beheading) -- One of eleven Philistine soldiers in mail, armed with spears, halberds, notched falchion, and swords, points to Saul crowned, prostrate, bloodied, beheaded, and another holds his mail and visor. Illustration of I Samuel 31:9.
