Zone 1:
Abner: Burial -- Five men attend David crowned, with hands clasped. All stand at draped bier surrounded by four candles in candlesticks. At right, three male mourners stand; one raises clasped hands to his chin. Illustration of II Samuel 3:31,32.
Zone 2:
Ishbosheth: Death -- Baanah and Rechab hold swords in right hands; one opens one of red portals with knocker and keylock. In foreground, woman as doorkeeper, wearing snood, sits asleep, with winnowing fan at feet.
