Beginning of Prologue I Joshua.
Moses: Spies of Canaan -- Moses, wearing hat, with right forefinger raised, holds book in left hand. Above, at right, hand of God, making gesure of blessing, emerges from clouds. Below at right are Joshua and Caleb carrying grapes on pole. Scene within decorated initial T.
In left margin is half-figure of soldier holding sword in right hand and in left hand holding head, by hair, head, bleeding from neck. In lower margin is crane and fantasic animal.
