Within initial P:
Judah: appointed (?) -- Two soldiers, wearing mail and armed with swords, stand one behind the other. The first soldier is turning back to the second who grasps with his left hand, the left arm of the first. At right, half figure, unnimbed, emerges from side of initial, possibly God. Below the initial, a black female figure is seated on rock, looking up the scene, with her right hand in lap and her left pointing to her face.
Filigree decoration in background of scene; foliate decoration in initial and on extenders into margin.
