Shepherds: Annunciation -- Of two shepherds, one, backturned, wearing garment with holes, shields eyes with left hand, hat and pedum on ground before him, small cask behind him; the other shepherd, wearing hat, shielding eyes with right hand, holds pedum with left hand. Both look up toward half figure of angel, nimbed, on gold cloud, holding scroll inscribed GLORIA IN E[X]CELCI[S]. Dog, wearing collar and gnawing bone is in foreground with sheep.
Miniature and text framed on three sides by rectilinear bars of gold decorated with vine scroll. Margins decorated with border of vine scroll.
