1) Virgin Mary: Misericordia -- Surrounded by nimbed virgins and female saints, including possibly Catherine of Alexandria, wearing headdress and holding down-turned sword. Virgin Mary, wearing headdress and ermine-trimmed garment, extends arms to open ermine-lined mantle enclosing groups of nimbed saint, martyrs, and clergy, including bishop, wearing miter and vestments, and pope, wearing triple crowned papal tiara and vestments.

2) Scene, Secular: Courting -- Among pair of couples, woman wearing headdress and man wearing hat, seated on ground against turf bench and before flowering trellis, behind which is fool, wearing hood, gesturing.
