Psalm 119 (Vulg., 118) -- Decorated initial B of Beati with ascender extending across upper margin terminating in head of hybrid animal; marginal extensions extending across left and lower margins partly formed by hybrid dragon-like animal, with long ears and neck, with right hand raised, on which perches fantastic bird, and with left hand grasping hairs of severed head, the whole terminating in head of man.
