1) Apostle, Peter: Miracle of healing Lame Man -- In initial D decorated with geometric ornament and diapered backgrounds, Evangelist John, nimbed, raises his left hand, holds a book in his right hand, and stands behind tonsured Apostle Peter, nimbed. The apostle holds book in his left hand, and with his right hand grasps right hand of lame man kneeling with hand crutch in his left hand, all beneath architectural frame.
2) Margins - Rectilinear bars decorated with foliage, enclosing four French heraldic shields, including Moreuil (one), Hangest (one), and Count of Soissons (one), and half-figures of two men, one wearing a hat, playing a trumpet, and the other blowing a horn.
Upper margin inhabited by a sawfish confronting a fish surmounted by a hybrid bird.
Right margin inhabited by a hybrid bird above a bearded man wearing trousers and mantle and hanging in air by grasping cusps of foliate stems.
Lower margin inhabited by a knight, wearing mail, helmet with a closed visor, and ailettes, armed with a lance and French heraldic shield, riding on caparisoned (with Coeuvres arms) horse, and jousting with a warrior, wearing kerchief, armed with an animal-faced shield and a saber, mounted on a horse galloping toward the other.
Left margin inhabited by two birds.
