Column, right: Magi: Adoration -- Virgin Mary, nimbed, with hands supporting Christ Child, nimbed, nude, seated on her lap, extending round objects, possibly two coins, toward vessel with open lid presented by the eldest of three Magi, bearded, kneeling, and accompanied by the youngest Magus, beardless, wearing crown over turban-like headgear, holding covered vessel, standing beside middle-aged Magus, bearded, crowned, holding covered vessel in left hand and raising right forefinger; behind all group of at least four men (heads or bodies partly visible) look on. Scene within shed with hole in thatched roof and on which perches two magpies; rocky landscape and buildings in background. Margins decorated on three sides with scrolling floreate and foliate decoration, including strawberries, inhabited by two prophets, wearing hats or headgear, holding scrolls inscribed GAUISI SUNT and GAUDIO MAGNO (right).
