Confessio Amantis: Scenes, Alboin and Rosamund feasting and Death of Alboin -- At left, behind draped table, on which are loaves and plate, Rosamund, crowned, extends right hand toward covered cup, held with right hand of Alboin, crowned, wearing fur-lined garment. At their feet under table is dog with collar. Servant, wearing tall brimless hat and vair lined tunic, stands next to the table, holding with both hands, plate on which is fowl. At right, Alboin, crowned, reclines on floor; man kneeling beside him holds with right hand, object (knife?) at neck of Albinus and holds his head with left hand.
