John Baptist: Birth -- Elizabeth, nimbed and wearing headdress, her head on pillows, reclines on draped bed with canopy. At left, Zacharias, wearing hat, sits next to the bed on chair writing (?) on tablet held with left hand. Before him stands midwife, wearing turban-like headdress, holding with draped hands, nude infant John Baptist. On other side of the bed, maidservant, wearing turban-like headdress, extends right hand holding cup toward Elizabeth.
