New Testament:
Christ: Baptism -- Nude Christ, nimbed, with joined hands, stands in stream. Dove of Holy Ghost, nimbed, hovers above Him. At right, John Baptist, wearing knotted sash at waist, raises right hand over His head, and rests left hand on His left shoulder. At left, angel holds garment.
Caption DIE TAUFF CHRISTI DURCH IOHANNEM BESCHAHEN. MATTH 3 is above miniature.
Prophets:
At left, half-figures of two prophets crowned, one also wearing headgear, holding blank scrolls with both hands.
At right, half-figure of Isaiah holding with both hands, scroll with inscription cited as Isaiah; half-figure of Ezekiel, the lower prophet holding with both hands, scroll with inscription cited as Ezekiel 36.
Old Testament:
1) Moses: crossing Red Sea -- Moses, horned, holding book with draped left hand, is amid Israelites, one with joined hands. Some look down at Pharoah, crowned, astride horse, flanked by two soldiers, possibly astride horses, holding bannered lances. Before them are six (?) soldiers, two holding spears, all in wagon drawn by two horses with man riding between them. One horseman is next to the wagon; another, carrying lance with tassel (?) precedes the wagon.

2) Moses: Spies of Canaan -- Man, wearing knotted headgear, supports on right shoulder, and holds with both hands, pole on which hangs large bunch of grapes. The other end of the pole is supported on left shoulder and held by both hands of man wearing hat. Another man, hands crossed on breast, stands at right.
