Psalm 039 (Vulg., 038):
David, crowned, wearing vair-lined mantle, kneels on one knee and points at mouth with left hand.
Figure on diapered gold background in initial D decorated with foliage within decorated frame.
In lower margin (bas-de-page), rabbit sits on foliate extension of initial D.
In lower margin (bas-de-page), bird sits on wings of hybrid animal with body of dragon whose tail forms part of foliate bar.
In upper margin, tail of hybrid animal forms part of foliate bar extending across upper margin and downward into right margin.
Line-endings of fantastic animal heads and foliate ornament on gold background.
