1) Christ: among Doctors -- In initial D decorated with geometric ornament and diapered backgrounds, Virgin Mary, pearled nimbus, veiled, raises her right hand and stands behind Christ Child, cross-nimbed, standing on steps of parapet and gesturing toward three doctors, including one wearing cap, and another, both gesturing.
2) Margins - Rectilinear bars decorated with interlace and foliage, enclosing six French heraldic escutcheons, including Count of Soissons (one), Moreuil (two), Hangest (one), and Count of Grandpré (one), and inhabited by two hybrid men, hybrid animal, hybrid bird, siren confronting hybrid man with bat wings, and bird.
