Virgin Mary: Death -- Virgin Mary, veiled, lies on draped bed, before eleven apostles, including tonsured Apostle Peter. Some are nimbed; some stand; others are seated. Above, two nimbed angels hold napkin with nimbed personification of soul of Virgin Mary raising joined hands grasped by Christ, cross-nimbed, emerging from clouds.
Scene within Gothic architectural frame decorated with cusps of ball terminals, and six French heraldic escutcheons, including Moreuil (one), Coeuvres (one), Count of Grandpré (two), Count of Soissons (one), and Hangest (one), in medallions.
