Amid foliate ornament in margins are angel, sitting cross-legged and playing shawm held to mouth with both hands; goldfinch, with wings extended; dove, lifting right foot; hybrid man, wearing hood with pointy ears, standing on all fours; and hybrid woman, wearing henin, holding staff in both hands.
