Psalm 116 (Vulg., 114). Man wearing hat and knotted sash, arms raised, approached by skeletal corpse, as Personification of Death. Figures in landscape. Margins decorated with border of floreate ornament including bladder cherry, cornflower, thistle, viola and daisy, and inhabited by seated wild man and snail. Text is beginning of Psalm 116 (Vulg., 114), in Vespers for Monday.
